IMPORTANT:
- New date for Notification of Manuscript Acceptance:
We apologize for the delay in getting all manuscripts through the review process.
The new date for Notification of Manuscript Acceptance is now May 30, 2011.

- New deadline for Early Registration:
Due to the changed date for Notification of Manuscript Acceptance to May 30, the deadline for Early Registration (discounted fee) is now June 1, 2011 at 2400 h GMT.

- New registration fee for Senior Delegates:
Senior Delegates aged 65 can now register for ICAM-2011 with a 30% discount in the registration fee (i.e. NOK 5250 by June 1, 2011).

NOTE: The final registration deadline for workshops/excursions is still June 15, 2011.

Registration to ICAM is now open. We are also pleased to announce that the 2nd circular fo r the 10th ICAM is now available.  The registration site is now open. Information on the programme, workshops and excursions is now also available on this website.

Per today, 196 Preliminary Abstracts have been submitted from 44 countries worldwide for the 10th International Congress on Applied Mineralogy to be held in Trondheim 1-5th August. Extended Abstracts are to appear in print in the Program & Abstracts book, and Full Papers for the digital Proceedings are now up for peer review. Finalized contributions with all revisions complete are due ULTIMO 01 MAY 2011.

Prospective congress hosts are herewith invited to submit their bids for the 11th ICAM, to be held in 2013. Find out what must be included in the bid to host 11th ICAM in the 2nd circular. Accepted bids will be published online prior to the 10th ICAM Congress and voted upon during the plenary meeting.
